Let's talk about something prevalent in almost all businesses.
Read closely as you might be making the same mistake.
When we look at websites, they all have the same “home”, “about us” and “contact us” page.
And there's nothing wrong with having these pages…
However 90% of businesses are missing this one discrete but crucial page.
Let's get into this.
Why You're Not Getting The Sales You Want
Imagine you have a puppy that you want to train. And I’m a puppy trainer.
If I were to run an ad, saying buy my course on how to train your puppy for $500. It probably wouldn’t go very well.
People who are scrolling on Facebook and Instagram aren’t going to suddenly spend that sort of money after seeing one ad.
This is clearly not the way.
If you want to start converting the people who see your ad, you’re gonna have to get a bit more creative.
And luckily… there is something you can do.
What I’m about to show you is something 90% of business owners don’t fully know. You need to make sure you read the whole article as the first half of the solution is obvious.
It’s only when you read past the first half is when you can see how it all really works.
How Do I Do This?
Let’s say I wrote an ebook. Or a guide. Or a checklist.
“How To Get Your Puppy To Listen To You Without Having To Use Force”
I want to give this out for free to anyone who is interested in training their puppy. I want to offer free value to anyone who can show that they’ve “put their hands up”.
This is important because they will now view me as an expert. Or someone who knows what he’s doing,
This can increase their chance of buying the course.
To be able to do this, you would have to advertise your free value with a link to a landing page.
The landing page has the sole purpose of converting more traffic and increasing conversions.
You need to imagine the start in the journey of a customer. From getting to where they are now, where they realise they have a need. Or have a want. Or have a problem they want to solve.
And gradually along those lines. They are going to take action somehow.
It is somewhere at the beginning where you want to catch them.
But it doesn’t stop there.
What makes the landing page so powerful is what comes after it…
The confirmation page.
After opting in on the landing page, it is ideal for the website to take the customer to the confirmation page.
The best time to sell something… is right after they have bought something. The best time to get a referral, is right after they’ve said “yeah” because they’re excited and relieved with their choice.
At no time are they more susceptible to buy than when they are in the confirmation page.
So make sure after you create a landing page, you need to create a confirmation page as well so you can easily upsell them.
As that is where the magic happens.
You can do this yourself or... you can have us do it with you and for you. We handle marketing, you handle everything else.
